Nicholas is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where he obtained an MS in Electrical Engineering. He also holds an MS in Microelectronics Technology from Middlesex University, London. He obtained his BSc Electrical Engineering from Makerere University, Kampala.
In his professional capacity, he represents Dell at the Transaction Processing Performance Council (TPC), a computer performance consortium, where he is on the board of Directors. He has also served as the Chair of the TPC’s Public Relations Committee and was a member of the Technical Advisory Board (TAB). As the PR Chair, he organized the TPC Technology Conference (TPC TC) which was collocated with the VLDB. The TPC TC is a forum that attracts database professionals in academia and Industry and enables them to present novel ideas on computer performance benchmarks. He has presented several papers at the technology conferences notably those that were held in Singapore and Seattle, WA.Nicholas is a Past President of the North America Masaba Cultural Association (NAMCA). NAMCA is a 501c(3) non-profit organization in the US, which is also registered in the province of Ontario, Canada and is an NGO in Uganda. NAMCA brings together the Bamasaba in the Diaspora and their well-wishers and focuses them on cultural and development issues of their region in Uganda
